Details
If you need to replace obsolete hardware, or you have new staff starting, we recommend our Platinum Business PLUS package. We can advise you on hardware that needs to be replaced during our site survey.
The Platinum Business PLUS package includes:
- Installation and migration
One of our technicians will install the hardware and software at your premises at a date and time of your choosing. We often carry out installations during the evening or weekends to minimise disruption to your staff.
We will migrate all your data onto your new systems, and upload your mail files to the new system.
- Training
We include a half day of basic training on the hardware, software and support process. We can also provide specialised training on all Microsoft products if required.
- Unlimited business-hours support
Our help desk is open 9 to 5.30 weekdays, excluding public holidays.
You can call us or email us any time you have a problem with any product or service we provide. We have strict service levels to ensure we respond quickly to your urgent needs. We log all calls on our help desk management system, so that you can review how your systems and our service are performing. Our support package includes site visits if required at no additional charge.
- Full Desktop Support
It doesn't matter whether the problem is with your PC, your software, your printer or your network - you don't have to diagnose the problem before working out who to call - you just call us and we'll fix it.
- Data backup
Secure online backup to cover 1GB of storage per user. If you have a lot of data to back up we can provide you with a cost per GB, and advise you on archiving data.
Files are backed up automatically each evening.
Recover files anytime through a web browser.
Dual site backup to protect against natural disasters.
- Exchange email
Fully hosted Exchange email, accessible from anywhere with an internet connection.
1GB mailbox per user, shared contacts, folders, daily backups.
Recovery of deleted emails up to 14 days.
- Hardware
Dell Optiplex Desktop, or upgrade to Dell Latitude D620 Laptop.
Laser Printer and Dell Server included with a minimum of 5 users.
Wireless Network Hub, Router and Broadband Modem.
Next Business day hardware support - if we can't fix it we replace it.
New laptops include accidental damage cover - we all make mistakes sometimes!

Microsoft Wind ows XP Professional.
Microsoft Office 2003 (including Word 2003, Excel 2003, Outlook 2003).
Back up software.
Internet Security Suite (anti-spam, anti-spyware, anti-virus, firewall) - our software keeps you secure.
- Broadband, wireless networking and VPN
Fast broadband connection with no limits on data transfer, wireless if you like, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to allow secure remote access to your systems by homeworking staff or other office sites.
- Security
Hardware firewall, internet security suite (anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware), regular updates and advice to ensure you stay secure.
- Strategic advice
Help and guidance on any aspect of your IT strategy. If you are considering any kind of investment related to your technology, new software or systems, we can advise you.
- Performance analysis
Advice and regular reporting on the performance of your systems and our service. We'll also hold regular review meetings with you to make sure you are happy and getting the best from our service.
- Proactive maintenance
We will routinely manage and maintain your systems to ensure maximum uptime. We'll make sure that your software is automatically updated regularly, and we'll perform maintenance tasks on your hardware. We'll advise you in advance if we think something has reached the end of its usable life.
- Reduced risk
You hand over the risk associated with managing your IT to us. Because you don't pay us by the hour, we're incentivised to make sure any problems are fixed as quickly as possible and to prevent them happening in the first place.
