The Platinum Business package is for those customers who are happy to re-use their existing desktop hardware and office software. If you need new hardware and software, please refer to the Platinum Business Plus package. We will advise you on which is the best package for you during our on-site survey of your existing systems.

 

We're happy to do a mixture of both packages and when your hardware is obsolete, you can easily upgrade to Platinum Business Plus and receive new hardware with no capital outlay.

 

Our simple pricing structure is based on the number of users, so you always know exactly what your IT will cost, even when your business is growing.

 

The Xootec Platinum Business package includes as standard:

 

  • Hardware

Wireless network hub, router and broadband modem.

Next business day support on all Xootec provided hardware - if we can't fix it we replace it.

  • Software

Microsoft Outlook 2003, security software, backup software.

  • Exchange managed email

Accesible from anywhere with an internet connection.

1GB mail files for everybody, shared contacts, folders and daily backups. Recovery of deleted emails up to 14 days.

  • Data backup

Secure online backup to cover 1GB of storage per user. If you have a lot of data to back up we can provide you with a cost per GB, and advise you on archiving data.

Files are backed up automatically each evening.

Recover files anytime through a web browser.

Dual site backup to protect against natural disasters.

  • Security

Hardware firewall, internet security suite (anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware), regular updates and advice to ensure you stay secure.

  • Broadband, wireless networking and VPN

Fast broadband connection with no limits on data transfer, wireless if you like, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to allow secure remote access to your systems by homeworking staff or other office sites. 

  • Installation and migration

We install the new hardware and software at your premises at a date and time of your choosing. We often carry out implementations during evenings or weekends to minimise disruption to your staff. We clean up all your existing PCs, migrate your email to our hosted servers and provide DVD copies of any files you wish to archive.

  • Training

We provide a half day training on our systems so that you can make the most of our services. We can also provide additiona l specialised training.

We provide documents for every user detailing policies and best practice.

  • Unlimited business-hours support

Our help desk is open 9 to 5.30 weekdays, excluding bank holidays. You can call us or email us any time you have a problem with any product or service we provide. We have strict service levels to ensure we respond quickly to your urgent needs. We log all calls on our help desk management system, so that you can review how your systems and our service are performing. Our support package includes site visits if required at no additional charge.

  • Full Desktop Support

It doesn't matter whether the problem is with your PC, your software, your printer or your network - you don't have to diagnose the problem before working out who to call - you just call us and we'll fix it.

  • Strategic advice

Help and guidance on any aspect of your IT strategy. If you are considering any kind of investment related to your technology, new software or systems, we can advise you.

  • Performance analysis

Advice and regular reporting on the performance of your systems and our service. We'll also hold regular review meetings with you to make sure you are happy and getting the best from our service.

  • Proactive maintenance

We will routinely manage and maintain your systems to ensure maximum uptime. We'll make sure that your software is automatically updated regularly, and we'll perform maintenance tasks on your hardware. We'll advise you in advance if we think something has reached the end of its usable life.

  • Reduced risk

You hand over the risk associated with managing your IT to us. Because you don't pay us by the hour, we're incentivised to make sure any problems are fixed as quickly as possible and to prevent them happening in the first place.
